Rome has stood at the center of the Western world for over 2,000 years-first as republic, then as empire, then as Church. It is a city which inspires our wonder at the heights of human achievement. "Ambition and Beauty in the Eternal City" invites you to encounter Roman political greatness and artistic beauty. We'll first examine how Rome's political transformations shaped the virtues of its citizens. Then we'll behold firsthand the greatness and beauty of its ancient ruins, imperial artefacts, and sacred masterpieces. This interdisciplinary course offers you an unforgettable experience: immersion in Rome's architecture and churches, evening strolls down cobblestone streets, dinners and discussions in piazzas and gardens.

Program Fee Includes: Tuition, airfare, ground transportation, lodging, group meals, and all in country excursions are included for all students.

Applications are reviewed and students are accepted on a rolling basis. Students are expected to pay a $500 deposit within one week of acceptance. All deposits are due no later than December 4, 2023. Program balance payment due March 15, 2024.
